Swarovski Flatback Rhinestones or Flat back Diamantes are now
SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS Flatback Rhinestones. (HF)
They are loose crystal components with platinum foiling on the back (also available in Unfoiled transparent HFT) which have a flat underside and has grey glue colour coated on back (Unfoiled transparent HFT has clear glue coated on back and Swarovski hotfix also available in pearls, which Unfoiled and has white glue coated on back, both suitable for bridal veil).
The glue will be activated by heat, the best way for applying these Hotfix crystals is by using an Hot Fix Applicator, with this tool you can apply the stones onto virtually any material easily, available in a wide range of colours, shapes and size. The perfect way for adding that extra sparkle to clothing, greeting cards, Mobile phones or the other decorative items !

Please note : Not recommended for leather, water resistant material and non-porous surfaces, as the glue of Hotfix crystals can only be achieved if the carrier material can absorb the glue.
Tip : Do water drop Test. A simple water drop test will indicate whether or not the fabric can be used with Hotfix Crystals, if the water did not percolate into fabric this means you need to use the Non Hotfix. However you can wash the fabric first and then try a water drop again (sometimes new fabric does not percolate water but after a wash it should be improved) More Details
